This UX mentorship programme focuses on career development and the improvement of UX skills for mentors and mentees. The Programme provides guidance and support to mentees in developing or improving their professional skills in the field of UX Design and aims to bridge the gap between education and the workplace.

Information Session
We are hosting online information sessions via Zoom with Programme Director and Founder of UX Tree Valentina Antunovic on:
The programme is project-based, with the mentee working on real-world projects under the guidance and support of their UX mentors for a hands-on learning experience.
It focuses on helping UX mentees:
- Improve their UX skills (UX design, including user research, interaction design and prototyping) and problem-solving skills
- Learn about UX workplace culture and become familiar with what it’s like to work in UX
- Develop their professional and soft skills in communication, collaboration and leadership.
Schedule
The UX Mentorship Programme will run from February 9th 2026.
Start Date: February 9th 2026
Duration: 4 months (15 weeks)
Commitment: 4 hours per week
Application opening date: January 1st 2026
Application closing date: February 5th 2026
1:1 Mentorship 8 hours a month (30 mins per week)
Group mentoring sessions (8 hours total)
Mentee Clinics (2 hours total)

Fees
Avail of the subsidised price of €750
Open to any designer or creative looking to improve their skills in the field of UX design, who already hold a Degree or Diploma in UX (or relevant knowledge) and UX Portfolio; fluent English speakers working in the private sector, based in the Republic of Ireland.
Design Skillnet Subsidy
A co-funding subsidy for the programme fee is available via Design Skillnet. To be eligible for this co-funding you must be a member of IDI, ICAD, IAPI, or 100 Archive.

Cost to you: €999-€249 = €750
Not yet an IDI Member?
If you have graduated in the past 3 years you may be eligible for Graduate Membership of the Institute of Designers Ireland (IDI).
Bundle: Graduate membership of IDI* + Programme Fee = €780
Alternatively, standard/full (non-graduate) membership of IDI costs €197 per annum plus a one-off €50 application fee.
